It contains 5 real GRE exams and after you have worked through each test you will basically have seen almost every possible question the test can throw at you. Even the ETS admits just taking the GRE can increase your score 5 to 10%.

The premise of the GRE Prep Course book is that you know very little about the CAT GRE. The questions are representative of the current exam and the solutions are reliable and use shortcuts whenever possible. It covers all sections of the GRE and comes with a CD and online course to practice test taking on your computer. The vocabulary review makes this book worth it's weight in gold.
The ARCO GRE Math Review book is really the ultimate math refresher. It is sometimes hard to get, but it is worth the effort, especially if the last math course you had was more than 4 years ago or if you find you do all your math with a calculator. Remember, on the GRE unlike the SAT you cannot use a calculator. Do this book cover to cover and you will score in the top quantitative percentiles.
Instant Vocabulary
is an excellent vocabulary review book. With 259 word keys (we once called them roots, suffixes and prefixes) you will be able to recognize the majority of the words used on the SAT. It can be very boring, but it can pay off in giant dividends of correct answers in the Reading Comprehension's Word Usage questions and even the Sentence Completions sections.
